This portfolio showcases the culmination of my creative mixed with academic and professional work throughout my time in the Business of Creative Enterprises's Senior Residency program at Emerson College. It is my growth as an artist and designer throughout my last semester in Boston and shows my passion for creativity and storytelling across various mediums.

Final Reflection - 12/16/25
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to attend Emerson College and to be a part of the Business of Creative Enterprises major. This being my final year and having to take senior residency and create a portfolio that allows me to reflect on and conclude my journey here is something I will forever reflect upon. This portfolio has become more than a final deliverable though; it is a living record of my growth and curiosity while exploring my creative identity. Emerson has challenged me to think critically and creatively at the same time. To push beyond my comfort zone and encourage me to see my work in a broader context.
Through this residency, I have had the rare opportunity to document each project I’ve been working on while also committing to the practice of creating something new every week. This weekly process challenged my brain to remain flexible, responsive, and open to experimentation. Some projects came easily, while others required me to sit with uncertainty and work through creative blocks, but each one taught me something valuable.
All together, these projects reflect not only what I’ve made, but how I’ve learned to think, and adapt while growing at the same time This portfolio stands as both a conclusion to my time at Emerson College in Boston and a foundation for the creative work I am excited to continue beyond it.
The Semester in Focus - 12/16/25
This video captures the quiet shift from creating for expression to creating with intention. As I move toward LA, I’m both excited and anxious, but am trusting the discomfort that has already taught me how to grow.
Manually Pixelated Self-Portrait - 11/14/25
The second image is not AI-generated — I manually pixelated and blurred the original photo to mimic the AI mosaic. This contrast shows how algorithms create feedback loops, shaping what becomes culturally “acceptable.” To the algorithm, the AI version fits best. To humans, the edited original feels more authentic — highlighting the tension Collins describes between machine-driven culture and real identity.
Ai Generated Mosaic Self-Portrait - 11/14/25
This first piece is an AI-generated mosaic built entirely from micro-tiles of my own digital footprint. By pixelating my image until it becomes a constellation of tiny, algorithm-shaped fragments, I’m visualizing one of Collins’ core arguments: that the content we share online becomes “receipts” of our cultural belonging.
Flowmies - 11/4/25
Flowmies is a celebration of friends and community who share the art of flow: moving together through light, rhythm, and self-expression. The video captures this past month learning to Flowstar; moments of laughter and perseverance. It’s a visual tribute to the welcoming spirit of the rave community showing how practice and support turn movement into connection.
Deciding What's True - 10/28/25
A seamless montage of my recent social media posts, reflecting how online spaces blur reality and reshape the way we define truth in the digital age.
Threaded Identity - 10/21/25
A visual collage that captures my year of crocheting each handmade piece representing moments of emotion and growth. What began as a hobby evolved into a ritual of self expression and exploring identity through my creations.
Stitched in Culture - 10/14/25
I believe creativity is an act of love. I believe handmade things carry energy and intention. I believe culture is built through these small acts; the things we make or give and share to celebrate life together.
The Ripple Effect - 10/7/25
A pencil drawing symbolizing how a leader’s personal beliefs influence and shape an organization’s culture and identity. Depicting a young white man as the central figure highlights society’s narrow, biased view of leadership and how these perceptions continue to shape power dynamics in business.
Eyebrows - 9/30/25
When I think about identity, I see it in my eyebrows. Once-teased trait that I’ve learned to embrace as a symbol of heritage and individuality. This transformation influences my art, where bold eyebrows within my style represent confidence and self acceptance by turning what was once insecurity into a creative expression of strength.
Blooming Through the Desert - 9/23/25
This artwork is inspired by The Alchemist serving as a symbol of personal transformation and growth through hardship. The desert landscape, blooming footprints, and golden tones reflect my struggle and how I learned to turn pain into purpose and was forced to embrace the beauty of becoming, much like Santiago’s journey toward his Personal Legend.
Awakening - 9/16/25
In The Alchemist, the crystal merchant symbolizes fear and comfort, while Santiago embodies courage and faith in following one’s purpose. I relate to this through meeting Colin and him showing me the edm scene. At my first rave him giving me a moment that felt like an omen by showing me that trusting new paths of love, music, and art can lead to so much creative growth.
Sacrifice - 9/9/25
This mixed media poster features a crocheted paintbrush surrounded by swirling, vibrant colors symbolizing how I shape my world through art. Inspired by The Alchemist, the piece reflects the pursuit of one’s Personal Legend, with handwritten reflections on destiny and sacrifice woven throughout. Layered and imperfect, it mirrors my own creative journey raw, emotional, and driven by purpose.
